Team, Anyone have any screen shots of the settings used in WiNG 5.x that work with our EWP 2100 PTT Client.  Done some test here at the home office and see real bad quality (Echos, choppy/jitters or not voice at all). Cheers, Mark

Yep. I have the latest OS and WiFi Cab fix. Followed the deployment Guide as well. Not sure on the last piece finding Multicast enabled on our WiNG 5.x code or if this is specific to the Ethernet side. Cheers, Mark

The following design guidelines should be met:

o   RSSI value: -65 dBm
o   Signal Overlap: 15-20%
o   SIR (Signal-to-Interference Ratio): 20 dB
o   Use non-overlapping channels (i.e. for b/g use channels 1, 6, 11)
o   WMM (Wifi Multimedia): Enabled
o   DTIM: 2 (Do not use DTIM=1 if possible)
o   Beacon Interval: 100
o   Multicast: Enabled (Multicast should be allowed for VLANs where the phones reside)
o   Data Rates: Recommended to eliminate 1 & 2 mb from supported/basic rates (if coverage permits) and use 5.5 and higher.
o   IGMP Snooping: Disabled
o   Multiple BSSIDs: Having multiple BSSIDs

o   Firewall: Successful deployment of TEAM voice over IP products into the customer enterprise may require the understanding of Firewalls and their underlined policies/restrictions within the network to adequately propagate voice traffic correctly. By default TEAM Express uses udp ports 5000 - 5031.

Also make sure the EWP is on latest firmware "172E-173408_Rev_E_US"
To find the phone firmware versions
               (Start> Settings> More>More>Phone Information >
Under the AP: label. Should say something like P1.72-….._08attached is the Wifi fix cab file which address many wifi issues.
