I have a customer who wants to be able to create Control + [letter] commands via barcode (such as Ctrl + S, Ctrl + A, etc).  We do not want to use 123Scan to create special prefixes or suffixes. I have found many articles on the web, but none work.  I read that one person used Code 128 and encoded ^S but it did not work for me (using a DS3508).  I enabled 'function key mapping', but still no luck. Is this actually possible? I have a barcode/symbol generator and I can create any barcode I need to test, but so far, no success.
