MC3190/CE6.0 - RANDOM LOCKUP/WHITESCREEN ON BSP32
1) Time/Date - 07/03/2013 Response time - 4 hours 3) Product - MC3190/CE6.0 4) OS Version - BSP32 5) Clarify Case # 2857966 ISSUE: Meijer Stores, reports multiple MC3190's randomly lock up. Sometimes with the spinning wheel (which stops spinning) or on a white screen.(I have attached pics as well as eMscript). AppCenter and PocketBrowser are installed. Users do price checking, by scanning into Pocketbrowser and waiting for response from host. They believe the devices freeze when waiting for the response. Please review eMscript (July1Store26HH2.zip) for the following occurrences. (the picture of the screen is within the zip as well) Customer reports the device froze at 10:22, 10:33 and 11:58 on 7/1/2013 The resource.csv looks inconclusive to me as it appears device had battery replaced at 10:18. Please review eMscript (July1Store26HH3.zip) for the following occurrences. (the picture of the screen is within the zip as well) Customer reports: "It only locked up at 7/1/2013 12:25:43 PM. They did not report multiple lock ups for this 3190.It looks like this terminal had been successfully running SPB for a couple of days. Operators may have logged out of the device and not exited SPB. I am guessing that the last operator had logged in a 10:19 AM."

Posted an additional emscript. July_2_7_55AM. Termonal lock-up at 7:55AM on July 2. This is right at the end of the log. I have viewede the resource.csv and RTLogs...I dont see anything remarkable. **Please note that customer's reported symptoms seems to make these devices a candidate for "MC31xx - Update Loader Images of the ECRT MC31xx Ce6.0 English Hot Fix OS build 80.32.0005 – SPR 23351"...but Meijer Stores are hesitant to load a non-fully tested and validated image and would like us to confirm root cause. I have asked the TA to load the Hotfix on some devices and test.
