I have a customer who would like to replace the MC9190 boot screen (not the wondows background) on an MC9190CE6 with their corporate logo. I believe they occupy a shared warehouse space and this would help them keep their MC9190's seperate from othr tenants... I bemieve this can be done with a bitmap file on the MC9190 WM6.5 Any ideas??

do you need it ofr CE6 or for WM6.5? anycase you need to convert bmp to hex (use romtohex -p 29 bmp_name hex_name) and then to flash it to the device (use osupdBB for CE).

Since you are using WM you do not need to convert to a .hex files.  Just generate the bitmap file (should be 240 pixels wide by 296 pixels high, by 8 bit color depth) then rename it to 9190w65HenSC000.bmp. Make a Pkgs.lst file with only that filename in it, copy those 2 files and StartUpldr.exe (from a MC9190 OS update image) to the \Temp directory and execute startupldr from the device.
