Root CA server is needed for Captive portal set-up in case when each user will have a dedicated login name and password? Or just RADIUS authentication is sufficient? Thank you Roland

As a general best practice it is recommended that you use a Trustpoint for the HTTPS server that has a signed certificate installed that the captive portal users will trust. If not your captive portal users will see certificate errors when their web-browser is captured and redirected to the login page. Regards, Kevin
