We have a very large customer that is using the NetMotion client on the MC9090 CE5.0 with no issue but on the MC9190 CE6.0 they are experiencing an issue more often than not where the MC9190 requests an IP address every 5 seconds. This is happening on all MC9190s and it was narrowed down to the timing of the Fusion and NetMotion load. If we delay the load of NetMotion to start up after Fusion has completed its load, everything is fine. They are using the CE6.0 version of NetMotion. The customer has worked with NetMotion and asked what initiates the startup of their client when the MC9190 boots up. Their reply was the GUI. Customer asked if there was an executable that gets initiated and the response was no. (Apparently NetMotion engineers were involved). So my question is, does anyone know what gets initiated to start NetMotion or have a reliable resource there that can help us out? We can't find anything in the Startup folders. Right now all MC9190s have been pulled from production and a hold on new ordering to refresh the MC9090s.
