I have the same problems. Instructions are unclear and no real answer found yet :-(
Which device are you working with:
For MC3190-Z here is a link for .net SDK: https://portal.motorolasolutions.com/Support/US-EN/Resolution?solutionId=97036&productDetailGUID=1699119a2a4cf310VgnVCM1…
Also look at this presentation that will help you getting started and with some code samples: https://launchpad.motorolasolutions.com/EMEAAppForum2013/RFID_EMEA_preso.pdf
First off all thanks for your response.
I have previously programmed for motorola devices using the emdk for .net.
Now it's the first time i have to use the RFID reader from the MC319Z. Your pdf file was quite helpfull and thank you for that. I have been through the sample codes and only the RFID3Sample6 could work on my device. I've been playing with this code a bit and now a big question pops up:
is it possible to switch up your reading ranges in a device? i need to be able to scan 'everything' on time and the next time just only one tag that i hold near my device. i have been looking around in the readercapabilities but did not find anything to adjust range. Changing transmit power seems a bit harsh (and maybe not done?)
Reading up on some websites i found its possible to get ranges is it possible to set this somehow? In the link beneath there is an article about this concept.
Switching range so we can read a closeby tag and then all tags is a must for us.
Could you give me a straight answer about this?
Now i am going through the sample code to get my own Rfid reader sample (trying to get all my tags in a listbox on the screen), this is not as easy as i thought :-(
with kind regards
