I recently ran across an issue where the device our app is running on was shut down while a transaction was taking place, which created a journal file. The journal file then cause the database to be locked once the app reopened, so our application received File I/O errors. Has anyone experienced anything similar than this, and if so what was your work around? I am considering writing logic to clean up the journal files on application start-up, but I am hoping there are cleaner options.
All the best,
MAB
