Getting "Installation error: INSTALL_FAILED_INSUFFICIENT_STORAGE" after installing Android EMDK 2.1 on my MC40 // Expert user has replied. V Vedsatx Saddvv 3 years ago 3 2 0 At the TAVT Summit from August 4 through August 8, the Android EMDK was introduced. In a tutorial, we were instructed to load it on our MC40. Once installed, I now get a "Installation Error: INSTALLED_FAILED_INSUFFICIENT_STORAGE" error in the console whenever I try to launch any activity from Eclipse, no matter how small it might be. The version of Android on my MC40 is 4.1.1, build number 90-4AJ11-J-0800-0010-81-M1-022614. Do I need to reinstall the OS? Beyond that, has anyone else seen this problem? Dave Mohnke

Hi Dave,

Did you install Device Runtime to your MC40?

Start->All Programs->Motorola EMDK for Android v2.1->Device Runtime Deployment

I haven’t seen this issue. Can you do a factory reset and try again?
