Hello all,

We are working with different Motorola Devices running Android like (MC40, ET1, TC55, MC32N0...) and I'd like to know if there's anyway with the Fastboot mode to be able to Clean/OSUpdate a device from a command line using Fastboot/Adb tool.

We have managed to get the device into the Fastboot mode but it is not detected from the command "Fastboot devices"
we get .

I would really appreciate if you have a solution for us that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

sideloading is not currently supported on our devices, The bootloader is also locked.

btw, the latest version of fastboot supports, an option for vendor ID.

eg, fastboot -i 0x05e0 devices or fastboot -i 0x0414 devices.

but like I mentioned it is locked.

Gary.

Jeremy,

I you put the device into recovery mode and use the USB load.  You can use the "adb sideload xxx.zip" and this will allow you to update the os.
