    Rendering Options and Compatibility

What are my choices for rendering engines used on different devices?  What about support for my existing Pocket Browser application that uses EMML Meta Tags?

Customers looking to leverage Enterprise Browser for building out new applications should (1) identify the devices their application needs to support and (2) decide whether or not HTML5 support is required. If legacy MSI devices (such as the MC9090, etc.) are a must, a customer would be limited to IE rendering, which is not HTML5 compatible. The customer should then use legacy EMML tags to build out their new applications. If a customer is looking to support newer devices and wants to leverage HTML5 technology, Enterprise Browser will support that. Customers can use the matrix below (Figure 2) as a quick reference to compatibility. For specific information on supported devices, please see Enterprise Browser Documentation.
