Team,
I was getting this message: "adb.exe is not a valid Win32 application" when I tried to run the latest fastboot .bat file. Note: that the previous fastboot .bat (08.04) file was working fine.
I decided to copy the 4 adb files from the previous, working fastboot package (08.04) into the new package (ie adb, adb.exe, AdbWinApi.dll, AdbWinUsbApi.dll).
It made it to the PASS screen…. However, now all I see is the Fastboot splash screen on the Device. It has been sitting there doing nothing for around 20 minutes. The PC is showing no activity.
I may have bricked this device. Any ideas on how to recover it (and then upgrade successfully)?
regards,
Dan

I have encountered the condition as well. When it gets stuck on the fast-boot screen, I remove and re-insert the battery. The device will subsequently reboot properly.
