FullReset.zip package will wipe External SD partition and Internal SD partition.
the addition of a FullReset for our Android devices is highly needed as more and more customer realize that a normal factory reset will not wipe the Internal SD partition.
despite being advertised as bringing back a device to ' out of box ' state, the normal FactoryReset package will leave internal SD partition untouched, and therefore exposing private files like Photos etc.
but the current implementation of the FullReset which wipes ALL SD partitions is not the right way in my opinion.
for example customer can have large files or other database files on his external removable SD card which should not be wiped.
also partners and or repair will have SD cards with diagnostic tools for example and when bringing back device back to defaults it should only wipe the device and the Internal SD card.
not the External SD which is used to go from device to device.
can this be looked upon from a more customer focussed point of view and if needed consult APA forum.
