The Motorola HHT guns have a number of registry files that load on re-boot.
One of the .REG files sets the configuration for the Wi-Fi NIC.
Our client is attempting to write a small program that will alter the .REG file in order to set a static IP on the gun.
This would allow much simpler deployment of multiple HHT guns. Their current procedure is to obtain the MAC address and adding it to the configuration of the router.
His problem is the registry keys are in Binary and is struggling to de-code them.
I have attempted to decode the registry keys myself and have had no luck.
Is there a tool or script that already exists that would make for easier deployment of multiple HHT guns?
Many thanks,
Shane.
