Hello,
I'm trying to use Netlog on a WT41N0.
I found this link https://portal.motorolasolutions.com/Support/US-EN/Resolution?solutionI…
I donwloaded the CE7 version, but I have the following error message when I deploy the .cab file :
"The file NetlogCE7.cab is not a valid Windows Embedded Compact Setup file."
I have OS version 07.00.2824, OEM Version 03.54.02.

Could someone tell me what I did wrong ?

If any alternative tool that allow monitoring of the network activity is available, I'm interested in also.

Thank you

The OEM referenced ( 03.54.02 ) is for a WM6.5.3 device , the NetlogCE7.Cab file is specifically for CE 7.   I have another one for WM 6.5.3.

The NetlogCE7.cab file I created simply delivers shortcuts to the device so Netlog can be easily started & stopped.  The actual Netlog.exe is already built into the OS.

the netlog.dll and netlogctl.exe are already built into the BSP for CE7 products.  All you really need to do is run the command or a shortcut to the command to start and stop it.  I have attached a copy of the kit I use in the attached zip.  i use a command file to start it.  I found this sequence of commands gives me a more consistent log than just starting and stopping.

Many thanks Chris,
indeed netlog is already built into CE7 product ( I have asked to the support )

Hi Bertrand,
this is the same behavior on MC32
the file on our support web site is corrupted or has not been built for CE 7
