Upon connecting the FX9500 to a PC, the default IP address as documented in the getting started guide could not be reached. To double check the assigned IP and to rule out any network problems I used Putty and the COM port to access the command line interface and issued the following command: com.network.1.ip_address, which returned the result: ok none. I've tried to change the settings of the DHCP server and manually reset the FX9500 by holding down the reset button for 10s but neither of these are fixing the problem. Does anyone have any ideas? Is it possible to set the IP address via the command line?
