What kind of serial cable are you using?
Are you able to communicate at all with the printer over serial?
We are using a null modem serial cable and yes we are able to communicate to the the printer over the serial port. We printed a label from Zebra Designer 2.
When we copied the files from Zebra Setup Utilities over the USB Port
The autoexec files seems to copy okay, but when we copied the source “zbi” file the printer prints out part of the file
855 PRINT #2 : "^XA"
856 PRINT #2 : "^FO50,50^ADN,36,20^FD" & PRINTLINE$(1) & "^FS"
857 PRINT #2 : "^FO50,70^ADN,36,20^FD" & PRINTLINE$(2) & "^FS"
858 PRINT #2 : "^XZ"
I assume that it sees a label format command
My apologies for the late response.
What printer model are you working with and what is the firmware version running on it?
Also, what are the contents of your autoexec file?
