ZEBRA SDK for Windows RT

Hi,

Looking for some help in sending ZPL commands in Windows RT to ZEBRA iMZ320 BT printer.

Is there any library / SDK which can be used like the ones available for iOS and Android?

Our requirement is to print an image, barcode and text.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Tushu,Zebra does not have

Hi Tushu,

Zebra does not have a SDK that supports Windows RT.

You will need to use Windows RT APIs to send ZPL to the printer.

Zebra does not have any

Zebra does not have any printing examples for Windows RT.

However, Microsoft does have resources pertaining to Bluetooth development for Windows RT.

In terms of converting your image into readable ZPL, you should first convert image into a black and white only png or pcx image.

Then convert the image data into either binary, hexadecimal , or ZB64 data and wrap it in the ~DY command and send it to the printer to store in its print buffer.

Then send the ^IM command to recall and print the image.

There is a sample on Stackoverflow on how to do this.

Hope this helps.

Greg
