One of our customers wants to have the volume keys on the right side of the TC75 acting as additional scan trigger buttons.
Currently we do this key mapping manually while staging the devices. But this is tedious work.
So we would rather be able to remap the keys automatically from within our application.
But this is not possible because Key Map Manager API is not (yet) working on TC75, and also not on TC55.

Hi Richard,
I don't know about the future of the KeyMap Manager profile, but you don't have to do that configuration manually on the TC75.
You can setup the device easily with a Remap File, as explained in TC75's Integrator Guide at page 149. Create a file with the name key-config.xml and copy it in the folder: /enterprise/device/settings/keypad/
You can do this copy file operation with StageNow or in your own application reducing further the manual intervention and the error possibilities.
Our Marketing would say this with: "Do Less, Stage More" :-)
