Hi all,
we have a problem using a USB scanner within a Hyper-V hosted Windows 10 machine.
We configured the scanner to work in CDC mode, and the VM successfully recognizes the scanner connected to a COM port.
When we try to connect to the COM port to read data the VM crashes with "No more IRP Stack Locations".
The support team have told us that the SDK is not supported in Virtual Machines, which I find hard to digest in this day and age.
Do you have any advise for us?
All our systems run within VMs.
Thanks,
Michele

Hi,
did you tried to "listen" to the CDC port directly? (via putty or so)
Michele, I'm sorry for two things: 1) That I'm not answering your question, and; 2) No one seems to answer any questions on this forum. A lot of posts; very few replies.
