Bluetooth Printing Causing Multiple Pairing Attempts

I have been working with LinkOS printing through Xamarin.android and keep running into a pairing issue. I have built my solution off of the sample source code present in the SDK. I can send ZPL to the printer and print labels. The problem is that after printing a few labels, the devices will ask to be repaired and start a new pairing event. I can't seem to find a reason as to why the devices need to be repaired over and over. Is there something I am missing to cause the devices to repair constantly?

Hi Falco,  I have not really

Hi Falco,  I have not really seen this behavior and I don't think it has anything to do with the code.  My guess is the Bluetooth configuration on the mobile and/or printer is not set up right.  Can you tell me:

1. What printer model are you using?

2. Android device?

3. Android API?

4. When you say re-pair, you mean you are asked to re-enter the pin or confirm the strings?  What is the exact behavior?

Hi Robin 1. ZQ510 Bluetooth

Hi Robin

1. ZQ510 Bluetooth Only

2. Panasonic FZx1 Toughpad

3. Minimum – 21, Target – 23

4. By re-pair I mean that after I touch the button and the event fires to send the ZPL, the tablet will show me a dialog for pairing to the Bluetooth device. I will then have to hit pair on the dialog and press the check button on the printer in order to pair the devices again.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

Hi,I have a similar issue,

Hi,

I have a similar issue, the printer is a iMZ320 and since I updated the SDK to the last version I have this problem: every few tickets, the device ask for repairing (the printer prints a bluetooth code and the phone asks for pairing). It is not a great paper waste, but a little bit anoying to the user.
