Datawedge is required and comes preinstalled on all TC70 devices. Your device should have the DataWedge app and the DWDemo app on it. If case of issues, you could try to reflash the OS yourself or send the unit back to your distributor and have it checked.

I have looked on the device and could not find the DataWedge app.
I went to the link for the OS that you provided, but it wont let me download the file. It says the serial number has expired. I have tried the numbers off of our other TC70s to no avail.
Can you help me out?

I'm afraid, you need to get back to where you purchased the unit.
After several months, I have finally solved the problem.
I had to repeatedly google the issue.
The lack of DataWedge on the TC70 was never a problem with the device, but with the Zebra software.
The problem is that DataWedge is removed when EMDK 4.0 Device Runtime Installer is applied.
Also, it was previously stated:

I agree that is a bit confusing, the downloads are only for WM/CE. I will see if we can get that updated.
