The company I work for just purchased a Zebra MC92 to use in the warehouse. But I just discovered that the ERP system work only on windows CE Version 6.5. Is there a way to downgrade from version 7 to 6.5? Zebra technical people sent me the file the run to downgrade 92N0w65LenUP005511.zip but when I copied it and extracted and run the StartUpdLdr.exe its giving an error Unable to import Library AYGSHELL.dll ! Program will exit. Hope someone can help.

Hello, it is not possible to downgrade from WIN CE7 to WHH 6.5, I tried that once and I lost the device boot loader (my device is dead), later I found a document telling that is not possible to do that.

There is no Windows CE version 6.5.
The OS you need to have is, most probably, Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5 (aka Windows Mobile 6.5).
There is no easy way to reflash a Windows CE 7 device to WEH 6.5.
You need to check with Zebra Tech Support, if they can offer to rework your units to the different OS.
This is subject to a fee, because of labour, relabeling and OS license cost.
Zebra sent me the windows embedded 6.5 as a zip file but its giving that error. So if Zebra technical knows that it cant be done how come they gave me the install file?
