    MZ 220 End of support

      Hello all,


      We have about more than +- 200 250 printer MZ 220 we know that the support is end of this year.

      I would like to know with printer REPLACE the MZ 220 ?

      Is this new printer is more or less the same than the MZ 220 ?

      I have some code for printing some sticker with CPCL and i would like to know if the code used in MZ 220 will be understand by the printer who is replace the MZ 220 ...

          Hi Christophe,


          The MZ220 was officially replaced by the iMZ220. The printers are very similar: same 2" print width, CPCL support. MZ accessories should still work with the iMZs. The main differences between the two are that the iMZ220 is Made for iPhone, contains a passive NFC tag, and is a Link-OS enabled printer.


          In theory, a CPCL label created for the MZ220 should work fine on the iMZ220.

              thanks for your reply, we know the printer IMZ we have a printer in our office and we try to print ALL our sticker with it ...and off course all works

              I don't know that the MZ 220 was replace by the IMZ ...
