Get result even the Edit text focused, and without entering the scanned value by default to the Edit text

HI,

Is it possible that If I have an EditText in the screen, but I dont want the scanned results to get delivered to the edit text ?
Right now in my implementation it the scanned result is deliverd to EditText and my receiver as well. I dont want the Edit Text to capture the result.
