Read Version number from .ZPL file

If a ZPL file contains firmware, Is it possible to retrieve the firmware version from the file?

Hi Brendan, yes, ZPL files (even firmware files) are actually text files and the firmware version can be read.  It's usually in the second line of our standard firmware download files, after the ! PROGRAM<LF> and before the ~DC

The rest of the file is obfuscated, but these first few lines are generally there.
