Hello, I need my end users to be able to easily print a .DOC file or .PDF file to a ZQ520 from Windows 10. I also need to set these devices to always on at all times. Thank you.
Still looking for help getting these ZQ520's to print a DOC, TXT, or PDF file. I've tried downloading fonts, factory resetting the device, and different firmware.
Please, could you review the post link below, I believe it will help to understand the differences between ZQ520 & the legacy RW420, also, how you can print correctly for each one.
To those interested in the future, here is a response I got from Zebra tech support about the power settings for the Zebra ZQ520.
You will need to use Zebra setup Utilities -> select Open communication with printer paste the command given and click sent to printer
! U1 setvar "power.sleep.enable" "off"
! U1 setvar "power.inactivity_timeout" "0"
! U1 setvar "power.dtr_power_off" "off"
! U1 do "device.reset" ""

I called back in to support and found someone that figured it out. It turned out to be a page size issue. Thank you for responding.
