We have several (maybe 12 out of 800) G4s from several different batches that have power or battery related problems. The customers report that the G4 dies - no leds and no screen activity and they can't wake it up. It's as if the battery is disconnected. Sometimes a 3 button reset revives them, sometimes taking the battery out and charging it sorts the problem but it's not clear whether it was the process of taking out and replacing the battery or putting charge into the battery that resurrected the G4. When a warm reset is done the battery often shows as being fairly full.

It seems like the power management has glitches, or that the battery door or the connections to the battery are faulty.

Does anyone have similar experience?
Are there any settings or workarounds that people have found to resolve the problem.
