I'm using a TC25 to scan a code 128 barcode, the barcode is not being read every time due to the lack of contrast between the barcode and the background, I have already tried changing the effort level and security level.

The code is being read fairly reliably when the "Image Capture Mode" is set to "Single image capture on decode". The software picklist does not work with the "Single image capture on decode" which make it tougher for the user to scan the barcode as they can't preview what they are scanning and position the scanner correctly.

Is there a reason why the software picklist doesn't work with the "single image capture on decode" option. Is there anything else I can change to enable the preview while scanning. I have played around with multiple settings.
