OPOS - Zebra ZQ320 - OleForRetail registry information

I’ve followed a documentation (https://www.zebra.com/content/dam/zebra/manuals/printers/common/network… ) where you configure your printer in Zebra Setup Utilities, configured printer connectivity and paired the printer via Bluetooth.

When I had configured the printer in SZU and in Zebra OPOS Device manager 1.14.1.95 and verified connection in the Zebra Test Application, all seems OK, the Bluetooth icon lights up and I can print some random test stuff in the Test application.
However it seems that some information is missing in Registry in HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\OleForRetail to make the printer applicable for the POS application.

When I added the printer in Zebra OPOS Device manager, the only thing that was created in registry inside HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\OleForRetail\ServiceOPOS\POSPrinter was Default, Description and Version.
There is also no information regarding Zebra in HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\OleForRetail\ServiceInfo.

I expected more information inside the registry and therefore make the printer and scanner applicable with the POS application after have been working with other POS peripherals.

Is this expected or I'm missing something?

Thanks!
Best regards

Karl H

Hello Karl,

In case your printer is working ok with Zebra OPOS Device manager and able to perform test prints then it seems your printer and respective Zebra software is ok. Otherwise I suppose you need to communicate your problem with Zebra Technologies support .

The OPOS Driver is now part of the Scanner SDK for Windows . You may need to install most recent version of it.
Also, among other documents there is a document that you may find useful:
