Hi

When printing labels using a Zdesigner gk40d we get some random letter spacing.

It seem to be certain combination as an example if "k" come after an "a" theres a space". But if "k" come after lets say "r" there is no space.

And as stated if a came BEFORE k theeres a space but if a comes before r there is not.

I have attached example.

Any suggestions on what could be the issue?

Thanks!

Hello Klaus,

It would be nice to have more details. What is exact model name of your printer?
Could you please to share your ZPL code and "allcv" report from your printer?
To capture an "allcv" report you need to run following command:
! U1 getvar "allcv"There is an article on how to capture "allcv" report properly:
Using the SGD Allcv Command ! U1 getvar "allcv"

Also there some chance your printer may need a maintenance or firmware update.
