Can the Zebra scanners scan numeric (non-barcode)  or alphanumeric information? I've seen applications that will capture, for example, a credit card number with the camera and then the software interprets the number from the image, but is there a way to do this from the scanner hardware?

I would think this question's been asked, but I don't see it anywhere.

-- Update: So, I see a 'SimulScan' plug-in, where it says:

Text captured through SimulScan is concatenated into a single string, and processing is performed on that string.

Is this what I would need? How do I get this on the TC-25, etc.?
