Methods for Time Synchronization

Device Time can be affected in Many ways. 

ActiveSync

          In ActiveSync 4.5 select Tools - >Options -> Settings and then Select "Synchronize Pocket PC date and time upon connecting"

          This is on by Default - 

Wlan

     How to set the Fusion Options on a device.

          Select "Options" from the Fusion Menu

          Select "System Options from the pull down

          Check "Auto Time Config"

     Relies on the accuracy of the current AP time

     Device must be in range of the WLAN network

     The setting is on by default.

WAN (GSM/CDMA)

Create .reg file in Application folder with keys at right

Merge into registry by tapping the .reg file and warm booting

Time will sync with cell network whenever device is connected to WAN

  –Wireless service provider support is required (most providers
support this).

–Device must be within range of WAN network
