Demo Installation Instructions for Click2Demo

Each demo is designed to be installed on one or a selection of Zebra Technologies devices. To download to your mobile computer, follow these easy steps:

1. Browse Click2Demo and locate the desired demo application you would like to install on your device.
2. Configure the wireless network on your mobile computer to enable Internet access. The network parameters will be specific to the location where the device is located.
3. Launch the Rapid Deployment client:

          For Android devices, from the application menu select Rapid Deployment > Scan Barcodes. 
          For Windows Mobile/Windows Embedded Handheld/Windows CE devices, select Start > Programs > Rapid Deployment Client.

  4.   Scan the barcode either directly from the computer display or from a printed copy.

  5.   The demo application will be downloaded and installed onto the device.

Manual Installation steps:

1. Browse Click2Demo and locate the desired demo application you would like to insatll on your device.
2. Download the manual install file.  If it is in .zip format, extract the file.
3. Copy the file onto the device, either via ActiveSync (WM/WEH/CE) or USB (Android).  If using an SD card supported by the device, copy the file to an SD card and insert the SD card into the device.
4. On the device, navigate to the file and launch the file (.cab or .apk) to install.
