These are the steps to follow to get notifications through email of new postings and comments associated with topics you are interested in or monitoring.  This includes blog posts and discussions.


  1. Log in to the portal.  This will use your standard Zebra login. 
  2. Click on your name in the top corner and click “Preferences”.
  3. Make sure the “Receive email?” button is set to “Yes”.  Also make sure the “Connections Stream” is set to “On”.
  4. Verify your email address is correct.
  5. Click “Save” at the bottom of the page.
  6. Go to this link:
  7. By default, the News shows articles from pages you follow called your “Connections Stream”. Click “New Stream” to start following topics on the new forums.
  8. Name your new stream.  Here I added the name “Printers”. 
  9. Search for your topic.
  10. Click Tags to scroll to the list of tags. Click the “Add” button next to the tags. You can look at the list of topics on the community pages for suggested tags.
  11. Repeat steps 5 and 6 until you have added the tags you want for this topic.
  12. Click Email updates to say On.
  13. Click “Done” next to the stream name. “Done” may be partially hidden.  See Screenshot. 
  14. You will now be following the topic and will get email notifications whenever something is posted on it.
