Best fan-fold non adhesive paper for ZD621 Pritner

Hello,

I have a ZD621 printer. 

I am using this paper: https://www.pcnametag.com/4-x6-two-sided-fanfold-square-corners-blank-timing-mark-stock-500-sets-stack-uprint4x6dsqb.html

The output print is faded and dark black. Is it due to the paper? if I slow down the printing speed then prints get darker but increase the printing time.

So any suggestion on which paper will give the best output with high-speed printing? I am looking for a pre-printed graphics badge.

Try to change the darkness level on the printhead. There is a SGD for that: zpl.relative_darkness.

Can you please let me know if this is any desktop printer's software settings? Or need to pass from the iOS app or something?

Is this setting for the Zebra printer desktop software or something that I need to send from the iOS app?

There are a few way to change the darkness setting on the printer.

  1. Use the Zebra Printer Setup Utilities for Windows software tool and send the following SGD to the printer. Refer to the ZPL Programming Guide for more info about the zpl.relative_darkness.

    ### Get the darkness
! U1 getvar "zpl.relative_darkness"

### Modify the darkness
! U1 setvar "zpl.relative_darkness" "100"
  2. Use the Link-OS SDK for iOS and send the above SGD to the printer via the SGD.GET and SGD.SET API.
  3. Put the above SGD into a configuration file and then send the file to the printer.
