Link OS v2.15.2634 - Only TCP

Tags:

I'm wondering what's happened to any USB or Bluetooth objects in v2.15.2634 of Link OS?

I've installed the nuget package into Visual 2017 and all I see are TCP objects. TCPConnection, TCPDiscoverer are in there but nothing for USB or bluetooth.

I'm trying to develop a UWP app and visual studio won't let me install earlier versions of the sdk.

Help?

Hello Mathew,

Hello Mathew,

You can try to install respective packages and parts from SDK to your VS2017 in a following way:

I don't see them

They aren't in my zebra.sdk.comm package

Here's an image of my object browser showing the contents that I see in zebra.sdk.comm -> https://ibb.co/zS9xNvK

There's only TCPConnection in there.

What am I doing wrong?

I'm not sure how a link to a question helps here? I am not having a problem with nuget as far as I am aware.

But regardless, yes I can try to install respective packages (thanks for assuming I hadn't tried) but those respective packages fail.

v2.14s won't install in a UWP app because it says it requires .net v4.7.

v2.15 (of which there are two different version) is the only version that will install in a UWP app and (both versions) appears to be missing Bluetooth and USB objects. You only get access to TCP objects.

I am not the only person to have noticed this -> http://developer.zebra.com/content/no-usbdiscoverer-avalable-net-core
