Progressive Web App (PWA) print name badge support

Tags:

We are building a progressive web app where all features are integrated using html/javascript. Our primary users will be on android and iOS mobile devices.

The print command would need to be called via a PHP/linux command or called via javascript.

Connecting to the zebra printer will need to be wireless and "ideally" support connections from multiple devices. Cost of printers is a concern.

Our application will use a mobile device to scan a QR code that resides on another mobile device (think event entry). After successfully scanning the QR code, we want to print a simple name badge with text only.

Zebra offers so many options. I'm looking to get pointed in the right direction. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Jason, For this use case I would recommend looking into the ZD4 Series.  It is small, relatively inexpensive, and has loads of connectivity options (purchaseable).

I am working in the PWA

I am working in the PWA application and I want some printing of a table directly to the printer. My application is on Angular6 PWA and backend is node js. Can anyone help on this? I don`t want window.print() to print through the browser.

Could you just set window.print = null; in your app?
