Just wondering if anyone knows the difference between the httpPortal and webPortal options in the RFS Hotspot configuration page?

I had a customer who tried using the webPortal setting and support advised that this was a setting implemented to support a customer in Japan. I did not get a response other than that you should always use httpPortal The behavior we experienced was that the splash page would appear, but we could never authenticate
The webportal mode is something specific for a customer in ASIA and will not work without a special customised back-end infrastructure. As such it cannot be used for normal implementations. Regards, Kevin
