We have a customer running their application on WM6.1 and is now looking at the MC75A0 which has WM6.5. Their application will not run on WM6.5 and want to know if they can downgrade to WM6.1. Any side effects?

So.......the MC95XX is MPA2.0 and running WM6.1. What's the difference in the two devices?
Both MC75A & MC95 belong to same platform MPA 2.0, but MC95 being an older product compared to MC75A was released with WM6.1 OS where as MC75A was never released with WM 6.1 OS. And needless to mention, one cannot use the images of one product on another though they are from the same platform as various product specific changes exist. Regards,

One big down effect will be that a MC75 WM6.1 Image will not install on a MC75A 75A is based on MPA 2.0 platform and that is only available with WM 6.5 Com3 or Com2 see PMB 1808
