MC9090 Freezer Locker

We have a customer considering building a "freezer locker" to store a couple MC9090s for freezer-only use.  They're hoping that they can avoid condensation issues when MC9090s move between their -15F freezer and a 90F (95% humidity) summer day.  The idea is that an MC9090 and cradle could generate enough warmth while stored in the locker to keep the unit responsive even when kept in such a cold environment (while at the same time simply avoiding condensation issues altogether).

Yes, we've already talked to them about the MC9090 desiccant and heated boot options... (they may test, but aren't convinced that will be enough protection)

Has anyone ever heard of something similar?  I know the battery life will be considerably shorter in such a case.  Wondering if there might be potential cradle or charging issues as well... any input appreciated!
