Does anybody have a good explanation regards the longer wireless asociation time from a suspend for the more recent devices and fusion. For example an MC50 running PPC2003 takes about 7 seconds to associate compared to 12 to 16 seconds for an MC55 running either WM6.1 or WM6.5. Is there anythingthing that can be done to possibly reduce the association time - if not I need to have a good explanation why not. It also seems that devices with WIN CE connect a bit quicker than devices with WM - I have tested using a MC3190 running WM6.1 and WM6.5 compared to an MC3190 running CE6.

The customers infrastructure is our wireless switches (WS2000s), and they are using WPA. I have also tested in our office with our wireless wireless switches using both WPA and WEP - reslults are the same.
What type of security is being used and who's infrastrucuture are you connecting to?
