We have a customer trying to set up a Bluetooth Serial port to talk to some equipment. They are having some issues and are asking what COM port they should be using for their BT port. The User guide that I have (not released yet, I dont think) says that COM5 and COM9 are available. That does not seem to be true. COM5 does not show up in the list within the BT config screen when you press "New Ougoing port", and if I select COM9, it tells me the port could not be created. Does anybody know of a port that can be used that will not conflict with anything else on the device? COM4 and COM7 don't seem to complain, but I'm not sure if it safe to use them. I am running BSP19.1 on an MV unit.

Dan, I have used COM:8 to connect to a Zebra printer on the ES400. The main issue encountered was that the ES400 would not pair correctly with the printer unless it had a PIN code configured (printer default setting was no PIN) Best Regards, Ian Hatton EMS EMEA
