I am having an issue trying to connect ES400 to Pentax BT printer.
The printer is discovered.
It requests a PIN. (1111 was configured in PRT)
MESSAGE - Your device has connected to Pentax Printer
Next screen shows the device under DISCONNECTED
Highlight the device and the Partnership Settings window pops up.
Serial Port service is not selected. Select Serial Port then SAVE.
DEVICES window has the printer highlighted. Hit CONNECT.
Message displays "Your device did not connect with Pentax PocketJet. The connection failed or the passcode is incorrect."
I am trying this on MV unit with BSP19.1 and DV unit with BSP18. Both do the same thing.
I can connect with MC55 WM6.5.3 and MC7596 WM6.1 without issue.
I have a huge deal pending a solution to this connection issue.

The mystery has been solved which turned out was not really a mystery but a misunderstanding on my part. Thanks to Tier 2 support for the education. It turns out that MS BT stack will not show a serial deivce as connected. Once discovered and a COM port is assigned I merely had to use an application pointed to the assigned COM port to invoke the connection. I used the demo app that came with the printer and it works fine. With SS BT we could make a "connection" in BT Explorer and have the device show connected like BT headset, etc. Thanks to Rob Galvin for the assist in getting this posted. Today it appears to work fine!
