Hi All, Does anyone have a customer that may be using (or interested in using) the VC7X00, and they do not want to pay an expensive electrician to make the electrical connection to the fuse box? Would they be interested in a simple car (sq) adapter that they can plug into and make the electrical connection? If you do, please let me know who, how many they would like, and if you think they may be willing to share in paying an NRE fee. I have a customer that is interested in using the VC7X00 with a car (cig) electrical connection, we submitted a CPR and received a quote back with a pretty hefty $$$ NRE. We may be able to join forces and have multiple customers share the NRE fee, or if a lot of folks are interested in this possibly have the BU fund the NRE and make this a publicly available offering. Thanks! Paul Bodjanac.

I learned absolutely everything about my question when I read this post, thanks to the author for the detailed description. I wrote my review on the https://essaysservicesreviews.com/assignmentgeek-review/ you can go in and read. Thank you very much for your attention and your time.

I already have a USB adapter that lets me charge my electronic cigarette on the go through my car's cigarette lighter or power port. I bought it based on reviews from https://vapingdaily.com/. It is a resource with a lot of useful information about this subject.
Hi Ken, The customer tried using the RAM vehicle mount and it is not holding up with the MC75 insertion/removal iterations, the pin connectors are failing (bend or break off). It is much lower in price than our VC7X00, but in our case does not withstand the enterprise functionality required by my customer
Agreed, the RAM solution is not a robust one. Down this road before, customer eventually engaged the business partner to modify the cables provided, by simply adding a cigarette lighter adapter to the fly ends. This added approximately $15.00, parts and labour, to the solution!!!
Yes, that is an option but why should someone else get the extra $15 per unit revenue with a duct tape solution, re-invent the wheel for each request, and it is not a "supported" solution and can void the "warranty" or "service" if the person who made the car (cig) adapter makes a mistake that can cause damage to our devices? Why dont we offer a "supported" solution and we make the extra per unit revenue? Since I have a cutomer with this request and they would need it now, I did not create a GRIP initially and went the CPR route. I received a CPR quote where the NRE is an up front flat fee. My customer is a little hesitant at this time to pay the up front NRE fee all by themselves for a solution that I am sure a lot of others can use as well. I have opened GRIP 4971 on this request. If you have a need for something like this, I am asking you to go to this GRIP 4971 and enter your opportunity. Hopefully you can do it soon enough that the BU will decide to fund this request before my customer determines to abandon this or bites the bullet and pays for the NRE fee all by themselves and as a result this solution can only be sold to them and no one else. Thanks
We have a RFQ asking for this type of solution also. However we don't yet if we will win and currently we are proposing MC65, MC75A and MC9500.
I wonder if this is something Intermec is supplying?
Paul, Have you checked RAM? I think they have a version of their MC7X cradle that powers off the cigarette lighter - http://www.ram-mount.com/NewProducts/RAMPoweredDock/tabid/2255/Default… Ken
