Hi I have a electrical utilities company looking at 5000 MC75A's and +/- 1200 x ES400's for a field service application. The Application is very time sensative and our MC75A's function really well with respect to persisting the RTC and Date settings because of our Backup Battery design on our MPA 2.0 platforms. With a depleted main battery in an MC75A, we are able to maintain the Backup battery and therefore the RTC and Date settings for a minimum of 48hours. The customer now wants to look at the ES400 as well. Has anyone seen any data pertaining to how we handle backup of Volatile memory and RTC settings on the ES400. Is it a backup battery (I don't think so) or a SuperCap. How long will it maintain the RTC if: 1. The main battery is removed? 2. The main battery is depleted but left in place in the ES400? Regards
