Is there a reason the Pre-Install checklist is failing here when SP2 for WinServer 2008 has version 5 of the Installer (which is newer than ver 4.5 update required by MSP)? Is there a workaround other than downgrading the OS? Regards Steve

Pretty positive that 3.3 does NOT support Windows Installer 5.0. You can either uninstall sp2 and install 4.5 installer, or install MSP 3.3.1 which is now available and supports 5.0 (Windows 2008 R2 is now supported and R2 comes with 5.0 installer).
My Bad!!! I see the R2 mistake now, just misread MSP 3.3.0 Install guide. Thanks.
