Moto TA is asking if we are able to provide help on following issue: Our partner has a post-sales competitive issue where we might loose a business to Psion, because our MC9090 (already in use in Belgium) doesn't perfrom as fast as Psion (used in the US). Client is complaining that a SAP client GuiXTMobile is turning slow on his MC9090G compared with Psion-Teklogix 7535G2terminals. The Psion Teklogix performs 2,5 times faster on the same WLAN as the MC9090. (More info: scan or keyboard input wit enter takes 5,5 sec on the MC9090, 2 sec on the Psion.) On paper the processor of the MC9090 is faster and the process should be handled faster but the inverse is the reality. Psion: Marvell® XScale® PXA 270, 520 MHz 64 MB Flash ROM 128 MB RAM Windows® CE 5.0 Internet Explorer® 6 for CE MC9090: Intel® XScale™ Bulverde PXA270 624 MHz Memory 64/64 Operating System Win CE 50 v4.0 for WCE, compatible with MSIE6.0 Does this seem to be SAP issue or is there any explanation why MC9090 is slower?
