Team, What is best practice when wanting to delete the run files from the /application/startup directory via MSP. Do you use package builder? regards,
Daniel

Daniel - you don't say why you want to delete the run files from \Application\Startup - it may make a difference. Also, I am assuming here you are talking about AirBeam or MSP packages. Usually, each run file was placed there by an application installation package, and if you delete them all you may disable the startup of more than one application. If you uninstall the packages that installed the run files, that would remove them one by one. If you create another package to simply delete the run files, you may end up with no convenient way to launch the applications. So.. if what you want is to disable automatic launch, but keep the applications installed, then the best way is to create new versions of each package for which you want to do this, where the new version does NOT include the .run file. Depending on whether you have some other way of launching the programs, (like AppCenter or some menu system) you may want include one or more link (shortcut) files to allow convenient manual launch. When you install the new version (without the run file) the old version of the package is uninstalled first, which removes the run file - then the new version without a run file is installed.
