Has Anyone tried testing the throughput of AP7131, talking to a RFS6000, in dependent mode?

I have tried, and I was getting 40Mbps, when I did a GET file using "FileZilla" FTP Server.

The test scenario was:-

The AP7131 was directly connected to RFS6000 running Version 4.3
The AP7131 was in dependent model with extended WLAN.
There was no encryption / authentication configured for the Wireless LAN
The wireless client was a laptop with built-in a/b/g/n card.
The AP7131 802.11n radio was set on 40MHz, on 2.4GHz.

As the data-rate of 802.11n radio is 300Mbps, the throughput should be between 100-150Mbps?

Please share your thoughts,

Best Regards,

Ram

Yes, I've tested throughput on AP7131 with RFS6000 in Extended WLAN (dependent) mode and it is normal you see only 40Mbps due to the data have to be process twice one by the RFS6000 and one by the AP7131 itself therefore it is not recommended to test throughput on the AP7131 in the Extended WLAN mode, you should test the throughput is Independent mode or Standalone. Hope this helps. Thank you Best Regards Raymond Lim
